Open your new Ohio State Bank personal or business checking account. If you'd like help completing the forms to switch automatic payments and deposits, bring a list of direct deposits and automatic payments with addresses and phone numbers, or your most recent bank statements to our branch.
Discontinue use of your old account. Leave money in the old account to cover any outstanding checks or service charges.
Once all your checks have cleared and all automatic payments and direct deposits are being deducted or credited from your new Ohio State Bank account, you can close your old account. Remember to destroy any unused checks and cancel your debit card(s).
